Erase
Brush over anything and it's gone, filled in from what's around it.
LaMa · 208 MB
Photo and video editor · Free and open source
Crop, adjust, cut out and erase, with AI that runs on your own device, so your photos never leave it. No install, no account, no upload.
Try it
Here are five photos to start with. Click one to edit it, or drop in your own. They stay in this tab, and nothing is uploaded.
Adjust · Curves · Color mix
Fourteen adjustments, tone curves for each channel and an eight-band color mixer. Here the maples turn from orange to crimson; the sky and the road don't move.
Looks and filters
A look is only settings: a filter and a few sliders you can keep adjusting. Every preview is drawn from your own photo. These five come from a plugin a few dozen lines long, built on the same API you'd use.
OriginalAI, on your device
Each model downloads once, then runs on your own graphics card or processor. Your photos stay put, and there's no account or API key to set up. These results came out of Rétouch on these photos.

Also on board: depth blur, denoise, and face and object detection.
And the rest
Every edit stays adjustable until you're done, with undo all the way back to the original.
Aspect presets, a straighten ruler, quarter turns and flips.
Straighten leaning buildings and undo lens distortion.
Darken a sky or warm a face with linear and radial masks.
Push, pull and smooth with a brush.
Tilt-shift, duotone, halftone, posterize and pixelate.
Trim, crop, adjust and change the speed, or save a GIF. Encoded in the browser.
Press ⌘K and describe the edit you want. Bring your own Anthropic key.
A bottom sheet, tools you can swipe through, and pinch to zoom.
Edit a whole set, then save every photo in one go.
For developers
Rétouch is a TypeScript library with no framework to adopt. Mount the gallery and editor in any element, add tools with the same controls the built-in ones use, and restyle everything with CSS custom properties.
